Defining the Class 2 driving licence?
The category C licences, or class 2. This will apply to any HGV with a rigid body foundation and a weight of more than 7.5 tonnes. With this kind of class, the cab won't separate from the trailer. These might include, among others, fire engines and garbage collection vehicles. These are more frequently used in and around cities than for long-distance runs. Additionally, for better results in terms of safe driving features, you only need to complete the required government-designed HGV C+E Training in order to obtain this type of licence. The sooner and better you can obtain the specific licence that is required, the better the training.
